All That Was Never True Core values
Sustainability
According to Teemill 10% of worldwide CO2 comes from clothing. 60% of clothes are made from or with plastic, whilst a dump truck per second of textiles waste goes to landfill or incineration every second. Together with Teemill we want to be part of the solution, not part of the problem. That's why our products are made from organic materials, using renewable energy and designed to come back to be remanufactured when they're worn out.
Original Designs
Being part of the creative sector, we want to protect originality and creative freedom as much as possible. Therefore, we only us original artworks made by ourselves or by authentic artists. We do not condone the use of AI to create art, and will never use any AI-created artworks in our own works. All of the artwork that we buy from artists, will be with a fair compensation that represents the true value of original art.
Fair Pricing
Both above points lead us to our final value: Fair pricing. All of the items sold in our store, will have little to no margin for us to profit off of. As we have selected a sustainable route, together with the use of original artworks, the wholesale prices of our items will be higher compared to products sold using less sustainable or less less labor-friendly ways. We completely understand that this might not be for everyone, and that's fine. However, we will not throw away our own core values to make additional profit, at the cost of the environment or the labor workers that provide us with our products.
